Here's a little step by step as to what goes into my tank construction. I start with my molds which were built strong to work with vacuum bagging equipment, then I paint on an epoxy surface coating, designed to protect the glass from UV and abrasion. I lay up my glass with West resin, and vacuum bag the part to give the most strength. The petcock tap is machined in house, so I can change the threading to match the stock petcock. Then the halves of the tank are epoxied together and the whole thing is sealed and leak tested. This one went out to a guy who needed a different fitment, so he asked that I leave the mounts off. Otherwise, the mounts seen in the box are epoxied to the underside.
