what's new in the shop...

The exhaust became one of my favorite parts, even though it got a little more complicated than I thought it would. I didn't want to go with a straight shot to the megaphones, so I stitched the pipe to get some curve on the underside, once it's all ground and polished, the seams won't even show. The alloy cafe racer tank is now mounted to the frame, using a bolt welded to the frame at the neck and two threaded frame holes at the back, all rubber isolated. The alloy cafe seat mounts pretty much the same, I wanted to make sure everything on this bike was simple, but well put together. I'm going to upholster the seat next, and construct the filler for the tank, using the stock filler cap from the original bike.
