I finished polishing up the seat and tank, and assembled all the other bits on the bike. I tried with this one to build the bike as I'd like it before tearing anything down, that way any grinding or welding is done before cleaning and painting and making everything pretty. I think this worked out well, as I felt free to make a big mess. I planned on getting the tires put on the rims this Saturday, the day I had the lacing done, but my mechanic was too busy and will have them done Monday. I wanted to have the tires on first so I could stand the frame up and start putting things back together, but I had to come up with a different solution (as you can see) until then. The only things left really, are putting it back together, upholstering the seat, making some kind of plate holder/brake light, gauges, and mounting a battery... this is going to be one sweet ride!
