It was a bit of a downer when the bike fell over and smooshed the original tank, so it took a week to make up a new one, I'm almost done polishing this one now... I think the new tank is actually better, since I changed some things that bugged me about the original one (knee wells too short and needed a crossover tube). All in all, I think the new one is better looking too. So this week I finished up rewiring the bike, I got rid of a lot of stuff on it that wasn't needed, or was done 40 years ago because of old technology, so now the bike has a solid state voltage regulator and rectifier, which really simplifies the wiring. I ditched the blinkers and will be fabricating a 10watt LED brake/running light. I finished up the front brake and it's good as new, gotta do some adjusting on the rear brake, and a couple changes on the shifter lever as it doesn't quite clear the exhaust.
